Sylvia M. Wagnecz, 88 passed away Thursday, August 30, 2018 at Merry Heart Care Center, Succasunna.
She was born in Lodi and had been a resident of Mine Hill for 47 years and a resident of Kenvil for 12 years. Sylvia was a teacher at St. Mary’s Parochial School in Wharton and also the Mine Hill School System. She had received her B.S. in medical technology at Rutgers and her teaching degree from William Paterson University. Sylvia was a member of the Mine Hill Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary and the Catholic Daughters of America and numerous other organizations.
Sylvia is survived by her husband of 67 years, Alexander, two daughters Linda Vick and her husband Brian of Blacksburg, VA., Laura Wagnecz of Niantic, CT., four grandchildren Kristen, Kelsey, Alison and Everett, her sister Lucia Gambino of Westminster, MD and her sister in law Thelma Frasca of Wayne. She is predeceased by her son Glen in 2005.
Visitation Monday, 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM, September 3,2018 at Tuttle Funeral Home 272 Route 10, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com).
Funeral Mass Tuesday, 10:00 am September 4, 2018 at St. Mary’s R.C. Church, Wharton.
Interment Locust Hill Cemetery.
