Obituary of Vincent Pesante

Vincent Pesante, 81, of Ledgewood, passed away peacefully at his home on May 24, 2018 surrounded by love.  

Vincent served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.  He worked as a Carpenter for NJ Building Laborers Union for 50 years before his retirement and was a Parishioner of Resurrection Parish, where he served as an Usher and completed Cornerstone.  Vinny was an avid Yankee fan and he and his wife enjoyed island traveling and spent over 20 years going to his favorite, Aruba!

Vinny is survived by his devoted wife Rosanne and a large family of nephews, nieces, and friends.  Vinny also shared a special relationship with Veronica and Mike Olshefski and their children, Jessica and Jacob where Vinny was known as “Papa Vinny”.  Vincent was predeceased by his two brothers Anthony and Mario and his parents Mario and Anna.

Funeral Services on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Tuttle Funeral Home, Randolph (Tuttlefh.com) from 11:00AM – 2:00PM.  Private Entombment at Gate of Heaven Chapel Mausoleum, East Hanover.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the Roxbury Twp.
