Obituary of Walter J. Tuman

Walter J. Tuman, 75, passed away on Saturday, April 21, 2018, at St. Clare’s Hospital, Dover. He was born in Chicago, IL where he stayed until 1977 later resided in Laport, IN and Riverview, MI before becoming a resident of Randolph.

Walter worked as a Chemist for BASF, Florham Park, since 1984.  He has been a member of the American Chemical Society since 1965. He taught nursing students at Purdue University, IN, for a few years. He loved football, fantasy football, the History Chanel and going to Polka events with his wife.

He is survived by Joyce, his wife of 51 years; two children Donna and her husband Brian of KS and Michael and his wife Aferdita of NY; four grandchildren Eva, Owen, Miles and Adrien; sister Nancy and her husband John of IL; sister-in-law Ina Balash of WA; brother-in-law Richard London and Karol Smart of CA and many other loving family members. He is predeceased by his parents Walter F. and Virginia.
