Obituary of Robert James Dixon

Robert James Dixon, 67 of Pompton Plains passed away after a short illness at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Paterson.  Robert was born in Paterson and resided in Lincoln Park before living in Pompton Plains for 15 years.  He worked as an Inventory Control Specialist for Thermal Electric, Saddle Brook and retired after 20 years.

Robert is a former Eagle Scout of Troop #170, Lincoln Park.  He graduated Boonton High School in 1968 and then attended Lee-McRae College, N.C.. Robert was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman.

He is survived by his five brothers Bill, John, David, Sean and Leigh Dixon; his sister Deborah Kearns; and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents William and Ann Dixon.
