I went through a similar situation and I was very helped by the hope that I found in the Bible in John 5: 28, which says, "Do not amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". Our family would like to convey our deepest condolences for the loss of this beautiful soul. Words cannot express how grateful we are to Leenie for everything that she did for my aunt / sister (Lorraine Scott) during her illness. She washed clothes for her, she made food for her, picked up mail for her and checked in on her and her grandson. The fact that she didn't have to do this but chose to "just because" is a true testament to what a kind and loving person she was. May God continue to bless you and your family Miss Leenie. .

Lisa, Sandra, David, & family, We go back 35 years. Leeny opened her house to me and my daughter. One of the best soul sisters around. She could throw down in the kitchen. She was tough, but loving. She loved her babies and family. I will always remember Leeny. She kind of reminds me of me! Her smile and laugh. Haha. I hear it now. She loved my babies too. Let's remember the good times.
