Obituary of Stanford E Kestecher

Stanford Erwin Kestecher, age 92, passed away peacefully while surrounded by family on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at Morristown Medical Center.
He was born on September 8, 1925 in the Bronx, NY to David and Betty Kestecher.
Stan was a wonderful soul who was strong, generous and kind. He joined the Navy at age 17, and was a proud World War II veteran that would have enlisted at 15 if he could. Those that knew Stan, know how blessed he was with the gift of gab. He was an amazing storyteller and had an uncanny memory and ability to talk about anything.
Stanford will be forever remembered by his sons, Barry Kestecher (Lynn), Lenny Kestecher (Donna), five grandchildren, Jason (Alisa), Alexa, Brett, Craig and Lacey Kestecher; sister Sonia Lederer, five nephews, and four nieces.
Stan will be reunited with his loving wife of 68 years Gertrude Kestecher who recently passed in January 2018 and predeceased sister, Rosalie Eckstein.
Graveside Service 11:15AM, Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at Dover Mt. Sinai Cemetery, 237 Chrystal Street, Randolph, NJ. Meet at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph at 11:00AM if you would like to process with us to the cemetery.
