Obituary of Russell Jones

Russell Jones, 80, of Morris Plains, passed away surrounded by the love of his family on Thursday, March 8, 2018, at Merry Heart, Boonton.

He was born and raised in Kearny and resided in Bloomfield and Morris Plains.

Russell served in the US Army where he played on the tennis team. He then went on to be a Computer Programmer for IBM, Fairfield.  He was a 50 plus year member of Livingston Lodge #11 F&AM, and a 50 plus year member and past patron of Lincoln Chapter Order of the Eastern Star. He was also an avid reader.

He is survived by Millie, his wife of 57 years; son Scott and his wife Lisa of Flanders; two grandchildren Laura and Christopher; brother Robert and his wife Doris and many other loving family members. He is predeceased by his son Craig in 1975.

Memorial Visitation Friday March 16, 2018, 4:00-7:30PM with a Memorial Service at 7:30PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com).
