Obituary of Elena "Helen" Tirondola
Elena “Helen” Tirondola, 99, of Randolph, passed away peacefully with family by her side, following a short illness, on Friday, February 9, 2018, at Mt. Arlington Senior Living.
She was born and raised in Newark and resided in Maplewood and then Randolph for 25 years. She worked as a Sales Clerk for Macy’s, Newark, for many years.
Helen was a member of the Randolph Senior Citizens Club for over 25 years. She loved crocheting and crossword puzzles. She was an avid NY Yankees fan. She was also a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is survived by three children Patricia Connelly and her husband Robert of Toms River; Elena Rovetto and her husband Joe of Dumont and Richard and his wife Connie of Andover; ten grandchildren Robert, Michael, Marisa, Christine, Joe, Anthony, Daniel, Michael, Meaghan and Michele; thirteen great-grandchildren Robbie, Katlyn, Antoinette, Summer, Christopher, Samantha, Leo, Evie, Nicholas, Daniel, Kaya, Olivia and Julian. She is predeceased by her husband Leo in 1978 and her grandson David in 2008.
Visitation Monday, February 12, 2018, 3:00-5:00 & 7:00-9:00PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com). Funeral Mass Tuesday, February 13, 2018, 10:00 AM at Resurrection Parish, Randolph. Interment to follow at Glendale Cemetery, Belleville.
