Obituary of Ernest Gus Stamoutsos

Ernest G. Stamoutsos 87, passed away Sunday, January 14, 2018 at his home in Budd Lake where he has resided since 1970.

Ernest  retired in 1995 from Rockaway Stapling Co. in Rockaway, NJ where he worked as a tool and die maker for over 20 years.

Ernest served with the U.S. Army in the Korean Conflict where he received a Purple Heart and three Bronze Stars. He was a member of St. Andrews Greek Orthodox Church of Randolph.  Ernest enjoyed his family, sports, swimming and visiting Greece.

He is survived Maria, his wife of 58 years, his two Children Gus E. and his wife Mary of Randolph and Frieda Stamoutsos of Greece, his brother William of Toms River and a sister Barbara Carpenter of P.A.,  three grandchildren Timothy and his wife Christina of Roxbury, Victoria Stamoutsos of Randolph and Anatasios Stamidis of Washington, D.C., and two great grandchildren Shaylyn and Kinsley.

Visitation 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at Tuttle Funeral Home 272 Route 10, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com)

Funeral Service 11:00 AM, Thursday, January 18, 2018 at St. Andrews Greek Orthodox Church, Randolph.

Interment  will follow Thursday, at Locust Hill Cemetery, Dover.
