Obituary of Carol O'Keefe

Carol O’Keefe, (nee Naylor) passed away peacefully on January 4, 2018 after a serious illness. Born in NYC, she has spent the past 35 years residing in Rockaway.    Carol lived a full and enriched life, filled with adventures, and travel, good friends and loving family. She held a Master’s Degree in Finance and was the Vice President of Finance at Bonland Industries. She and her husband Doug were devoted to each other beyond measure. She was an avid hiker who enjoyed visiting different countries and conquering difficult hiking trails. She is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Doug Ryan; and her beloved children; her son and daughter in law David and Susan O’Keefe; her daughter and son in law JoAnne and Doug Maluchnik, son and daughter in law Michael and Maria Ryan; son in law Dimiter Topchev, daughter and son in law Vicky and Wade and son David Ryan. She is also beloved and survived by 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren and countless good friends and extended family.  She is predeceased by her parents David and Marguerite (Murray) Naylor; four brothers John, David, Kenneth and Steven and her daughter, Ginny Topchev.   

Visitations Sunday, January 7, 2018 from 3:00-6:00PM and Monday, January 8, 2018 from 10:00AM-12:00 Noon, eulogies and family remembrances will take place throughout the visitations. Arrangements will be held at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com).
