Howard P. Carson, 88, of Rockaway Twp., passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2017, at his home. He was born in Scranton, PA.

Howard was a longtime member of the American Legion Wilson-Kelch Post, Newton, Harmony Lodge No. 8 and A.M. of Andover.  He worked as a Meter Reader for JCP&L and retired after many years of service.

He is survived by Marilyn, his wife; two brothers Neil of OK and Edward of TN; four step-children Cheryl Barkley of Rockaway, Sharon Lepre of Randolph, William Hartman, III of MI and Charles Hartman of Rockaway, along with many step-grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation, Sunday, September 17, 2017, 2:00-4:00PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (tuttlefh.com). Graveside Service, Monday, September 18, 2017, 11:00AM at Restland Memorial Park, East Hanover. 

In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to : The Alzheimers Association Greater NJ Chapter, 400 Morris Avenue, Suit 251 Denville, NJ 07834
