Obituary of Dorothy Claire Turrisi

Dorothy C. Turrisi (nee Flood) passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 30, 2017.  Dorothy was pre-deceased by her husband Charles A., Sr.; her son, Charles A, Jr., Grandson, L/Cpl Chris Cosgrove & great-granddaughter Deanna Scowcroft.  Born on December 13, 1928, Dorothy lived in Orange, West Caldwell and Roxbury Township.  Her proudest accomplishment was raising her seven children.  She is survived by son Philip Scowcroft & Lourdes of Hackettstown, daughter Claire Simony & Bill of Calabash, NC, daughter Frances Gellas & Tom of Randolph, daughter Margaret Toupet & Harry of Mine Hill, daughter Charlene Cosgrove-Bowie & Art of Ledgewood, son Thomas Turrisi & Christine of Parsippany and daughter-in-law Patti Turrisi of Roxbury, widow of the late Charles Turrisi, Jr.  Fourteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren also survive her.  

Visitation Friday, September 1, 2017, 4:00-8:00PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com). Funeral Service Saturday, September 2, 2017, 10:00AM also at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven, East Hanover.
