Obituary of Geza Roman
Geza Roman, 80 of Randolph passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 12, 2017, at Compassionate Care Hospice, Dover. He was born in Nyirbator, Hungary and came to America in 1956, since then he resided in Parsippany before making Randolph his home.
Geza worked as a Tool Maker for Ramé-Hart, Mountain Lakes and retired in 2002 after 35 years. He enjoyed his retirement to the fullest with his grandchildren and going on many trips with his wife. He was a very competitive chess player and often enjoyed playing cards with friends. Geza followed many different sports. During family gatherings, it was very likely that Geza would be found playing the Harmonica.
Geza is survived by Eva, his loving wife of 58 years; two children Adrienne Roman of Succasunna and Richard Roman and his wife Denise of Chester; three adored grandchildren Matthew and Markus McConnon and Ava Roman. He is also survived by his two brothers Lajos Roman and his wife Anna and Charles Roman; two nephews Lajos and Denes.
Visitation Tuesday, August 15, 2017, 5:00-7:00PM with a service following at 7:00PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (tuttlefh.com). Interment is private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Hungarian Presbyterian Church of Wharton, 83 Robert St, Wharton, NJ 07885.
