John R. Michalski, 74, of Coplay, PA, passed away unexpectedly, on Monday, April 3, 2017, at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia, PA. John was born in Dover, was a resident of Rockaway Township for 23 years, and then a resident of Coplay, PA for the last 18 years.
He was an Iron Welder and a Tank Builder for Proctor and Gamble for 21 years. From 1961 to 1977 he worked as a Pipe Fitter for Local 274, Morristown. John was a member of the Harley Dresser Association for 40 years and an avid motorcycle rider. He loved restoring his 1955 Ford Crown Victoria.
John is survived by Pat his wife of 50 years; two daughters Lori Michalski of Dover, and Lynn Pacich (Michalski) of Mullica Hill; three granddaughters; Taylor, Hailee and Kendall Pacich; his three great granddaughters Deztiny, Faith and Jasmine Toomer, his step-mother Arlene Michalski. He is also survived by an Aunt and cousins.
Visitation, Friday, April 7, 2017, 3:00-5:00PM & 7:00-9:00PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (tuttlefh.com). Graveside Service 11:00AM, Saturday, April 8, 2017, at Locust Hill Cemetery, Dover. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home 10:00AM.
