Obituary of Ida A Johnson
Ida A. Johnson, 90, of Randolph passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2017, at St. Clare’s Hospital, Dover surrounded by her family. Ida was born and raised in Dover, resided in Denville before moving to Randolph in 1967. She was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church of Dover and current member of the Mt. Fern Methodist Church of Randolph.
Ida worked as a bookkeeper and then was a homemaker. She was an avid gardener and loved planting flowers. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and preparing holiday meals for her family. A beloved mother and grandmother, she especially loved babysitting and doing things for her grandchildren.
Ida is survived by her three children Robert A. Johnson and his wife Catherine of Orlando, FL, Keith Johnson of Randolph, Nancy Doherty and her husband John of Mine Hill; four grandchildren Kiersten Johnson, Heather Doherty, Danielle Doherty and David Doherty; and her brother Raymond L. Fisher of Dover. She is predeceased by her husband Robert W. Johnson in 2008.
