Obituary of Helen C. Bollmann
Helen C. Bollmann, 96, of Wharton, peacefully went home to be with her Lord and reunited with her beloved husband Ed, on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at Compassionate Care Hospice at Saint Clare’s Hospital, Dover. She was born in Dupont, PA and has been a resident of Wharton since 2001, formerly of Scotrun, PA.
Helen was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Dover for over 60 years. She was the oldest active member. Her activities at the church included membership in WOWs, Dorcas Society and Bible study groups. She was loving, caring and gave generously of herself to her family and the community.
She is survived by her four children Constance Bollmann, Lorraine Bollmann, Edward G. Bollmann and his wife Ruthann and Jan Paul Bollmann and his wife Sharon Lee; six grandchildren Eric Castorina and his wife Adrienne, Melanie Slobodzian and her husband Sam, Christine Bollmann Decker, Craig Bollmann and his partner Kim Mantz, Brian Bollmann and Jeanine Bollmann Davis and her husband Kevin; fourteen great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband Edward in 2004.
Memorial Visitation Saturday, May 20, 2017, 9:00AM at Trinity Lutheran Church, Dover followed by a Memorial Service 10AM at the church. Interment to follow at Succasunna Presbyterian Cemetery, Succasunna.
