George Plastoris
George Plastoris, 88, lifelong resident of Dover, passed away Wednesday, July 10th, 2013, at the Regency Grande Care Center, Dover.
He served in the U.S. Navy during WW II, serving in the Pacific on the USS Boston.
He worked as a Superintendent for the Jersey City Water Works, retiring in the 1990's, after 47 years.
Survived by his brother John and wife Estelle Plastoris; two nieces Karen Plastoris and Alice Plastoris. Also survived by several cousins. Predeceased by his mother Kaliopi; father Gust; and sister Barbara Plastoris
Visitation Sunday, July 14th, 2013, 1-5 PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph, (www.tuttlefh.com).
Funeral Services will be held at St. Andrew Greek Orthodox Church, 1447 Sussex Turnpike, Randolph, (973-584-0388), 10:00 AM on Monday, July 15th, 2013.
Interment will follow at Locust Hill Cemetery, Dover.
