Joan Marie Lucid, 58, of Denville, passed away Wednesday, June 12th, 2013 at Compassionate Care Hospice at Saint Clares Hospital, Dover, following a short illness. Joan was born in Hoboken and has been a resident of Denville since 1995. Formerly of Jersey City.
She worked as a Teacher for the Jersey City Board of Education, Jersey City.
She loved baking, gardening, shopping and spending time with her grandkids.
Survived by two sons Jeremy and his wife Lauren and Keith and his wife Catherine; five grandchildren Emalee, Julia, David, James, and Aubrey.
Also survived by her brother Raymond Lindsley and his wife Kathleen; sister-in-law Irene Lindsley; many nieces, nephews, and friends including Michelle Bradley. Predeceased by her husband James in 2008 and her brother William in 2011.
Memorial Visitation Friday, June 14, 2013, 3 - 5 & 7 - 9 p.m. at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com).
Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2013, 10:00 a.m. at The Chapel at Restland Memorial Park, East Hanover. Interment is private.
