Frank "Jasper" Sullivan, 79, of Lake Hopatcong, passed away peacefully,Tuesday, April 30, 2013, surrounded by his family, at Morristown Memorial Hospital, Morristown. Frank was born in Dover and has been a resident of Lake Hopatcong for 42 years. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He was Owner of North Jersey Acoustic in Wharton, for over 35 years. He won a track scholarship to Indiana University. He found himself in the Navy when the Korean War broke out and was stationed on the U.S.S. Bennington. He graduated from Seton Hall University. In his later years, he became an avid race walker with the Shore Athletic Club. Survived by his wife Carolyn of 45 years; three children Geralyn Longo and husband Sal, Frank and wife Lisa, and Sean. Also survived by three grandchildren Payton and Sal Longo and Daniel Sullivan and his sister Pat Bostick. Visitation Friday, May 3, 2013, 3 - 7 p.m. at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com). Funeral Mass at Our Lady of the Lake, Mt. Arlington, 9:45 a.m. on Saturday, May 4th, 2013. Entombment will follow at Somerset Hills Mausoleum, Basking Ridge. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory to either Several Sources Foundation, PO Box 157 Ramsey, NJ 07446 or NJ Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516.
