Barbara (Bull) Brown of Succasunna, passed away Monday, April 15, 2013 at her home, after a long battle with Parkinson's. She was 81. Born in Dover, she was raised in Succasunna where she lived most of her life. She was the daughter of Nellie and Raymond Bull, and she is predeceased by her brother, Warren.Barbara graduated from Glassboro State College, and taught Kindergarten for several years. She also worked at the Morris County Department of Aging for over 23 years, where she made lasting friendships. She retired in 2003.Among her many activities, Barbara loved cats, playing piano, her beautiful garden, cooking, and was known for her great sense of humor and positive attitude.She is survived by her children and their spouses, Bonnie (Steven) Pochintesta, Karen (Anthony) Strattner, and Craig (Tracy) Brown, her niece Candice Bull and three grandchildren, Allison, Benjamin and Melissa. She also leaves behind Sophia Grodzka, who was her caregiver, companion and friend.Calling hours will be at the Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph on Saturday, April 20, 2013, 2 - 5 PM followed by an informal service. Burial will be at the Succasunna Presbyterian Church Cemetery at a later date.In lieu of flowers, contributions in Barbara's name can be mailed to The Parkinson's Disease Foundation, 1359 Broadway, Suite 1509, New York, NY 10018 or to the charity of one's choice.
