Jeffrey Nicholas Pittas, 32, passed away suddenly on Sunday at his home in Orlando, Fl. Born in Dover, NJ, he lived in Mt. Olive and Midlothian, VA. He was a graduate of Clover Hill High School. Jeff had a life-long passion for films and music, which led him to study at Full Sail Film School in Orlando, FL. From there he pursued a career of 9 years with Regal Entertainment Group, where he was employed as a projection manager at Waterford Lakes 20 in Orlando at the time of his death.
Jeff was loved by all he met and made close and life-long friends wherever he went. His unfailing sense of humor always elicited smiles, and his loving and generous spirit gave him a special place in the hearts of his family and friends. He loved the NY Yankees and supported them through their losing and winning seasons. A love for animals, especially those with special needs, led him to the Humane Society and to adopt his dogs, Hopper and Vader.
He was the deeply cherished son of Susan Lamberton and her husband, Herb, of Morristown, and George N. Pittas of Largo, FL, (formerly of Dover) and his wife Jane. He will be truly missed by his sisters Jennifer Weaver and her husband, Brian, of Hackettstown, Susan Kaijala and her husband, Steve, of Roxbury; Sandy Pizzo of Vineland; Karen Lamberton, of Manhattan; Susan Koeneman and her husband, Brad, of Atlanta, GA; and brother George Pittas and his wife, Jan, of Robbinsville. A beloved uncle, his 13 nieces and nephews will also miss him greatly, as will his extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
