Obituary of Evelyn E. Handshaw

Tuesday July 14th, 2009 5:00pm Service Evelyn E. Handshaw Mrs. Evelyn E. Handshaw, 88, of Randolph passed away suddenly, Sunday, July 12th, 2009 in Compassionate Care Hospice at Saint Clares Hospital, Dover. Mrs. Handshaw was born in Syracuse, NY. She loved crocheting, word books and cooking, but she was mostly known as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Survived by John P., her loving husband of 58 years, two daughters Karen Jean Byers of Hackettstown and Betsy Ann Swisshelm and her husband David of Oxford, and one son Bruce Alan Handshaw of Wharton. Also survived by two grandchildren Jessica and Matthew and one great-grandson Peyton, her brother Robert Parks of AL, three sisters Bea Wolf of CT, Edith Parks of Salt Lake City, UT and Rose Manuappa of AZ. Predeceased by her son John P. Handshaw IV in 1979. Funeral Services will be held at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph, at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 14th, 2009.
