Obituary of Katherine A. Talmadge

Katherine A. Talmadge, 63, of Manahawkin, passed away Tuesday, March 19th, 2013 at home. Katherine was born in Dover and has been a resident of Manahawkin since 2004. Formerly of Rockaway Township. Longtime member of St. Clement Pope & Martyr R.C. Church, Rockaway where she also taught Religious Education. She volunteered as a Literacy tutor for Morris County helping students learn English. She was a successful Marketing Executive, spending most of her career with AT & T in Basking Ridge and later Vice-president- Marketing at AAA South Jersey in Voorhees, and retired in 2011. She enjoyed travelling with her husband Mike, but most of all she cherished the time she spent with her family and friends. Those that knew Katherine will always remember her beautiful smile and the generosity and kindness she showed to everyone. Survived by her husband of 46 years, Michael J.; two children Dana Cafasso of NC and Michael S. of Rockaway; three sisters Jane Heckman, Carol Smith, and Theresa Morris; and her brother John Bower. Also survived by two grandchildren Christopher Cafasso and Mikaela Talmadge. Visitation Thursday, March 21, 2013, 2 - 4 & 6 - 9 PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com). Funeral Mass at St. Clement Pope & Martyr R.C. Church, Rockaway, at 10:00 AM on Friday, March 22nd, 2013. Interment will follow at Locust Hill Cemetery, Dover.
