Obituary of Peter Angelopoulos

Peter Angelopoulos, 50, of Montclair, passed away Thursday, February 20th, 2014 at Saint Clare's Hospital, Dover following a long illness. Peter was born in Milia, Greece, he resided in Montclair and grew up in Dover. He graduated from Dover High School and Rutgers University. He worked at Prudential Insurance in Rockaway and also Allstate Insurance. He was very accomplished and well respected in his field. He was known to be very generous. He enjoyed basketball and football, especially the Pittsburgh Steelers. Peter loved his friends, family and especially his nieces. Survived by his mother Irene Angelopoulos of Dover; his sister Maria Angelopoulos of Cortlandt Manor, NY; his nieces Reena and Jenny; his aunts Elizabeth Tsamis and Bessie Georgatos; his uncles John Milonas and Stratos Angelopoulos and many cousins. Predeceased by his father Konstantinos in 2008. Visitation Monday, February 24th, 2014, 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com). Funeral Services will be held at St. Andrew Greek Orthodox Church, 1447 Sussex Turnpike, Randolph (973-584-0388) at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 25th, 2014. Interment will follow at Locust Hill Cemetery, Dover.
