Obituary of Karen Lee Kennedy

Karen (Meichsner) Kennedy passed away on March 4, 2013 in Morristown. She was 66 years old. Karen was a life long resident of Dover. She graduated from DoverHigh School in 1964. Karen is a Past Matron of the Order of the EasternStar #79, a Past President of the Academy Street PTA, a past member of the Dover Emblem Club and a member of the Dover Band Boosters. Karen is survived by her beloved husband of 42 years James T. Kennedy; her loving children:her daughter Kristin Biase and her husband Richard of Mount Arlington and her son Brian Kennedy and wife Stephanie of Leominster, MA. She is also survived by her beloved sister Dorothy Letizia of Atco; as well as her cherished grandchildren, Richard and Philip Biase, and Brigid Kennedy. She was a caring Aunt to two nieces, who, along with countless friends will sorely miss her.Visitation will be held Friday, March 8, 2013 from 3-5 and 7-9 PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Rt. 10, Randolph www.tuttlefh.com. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, March 9, 2013 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Locust Hill Cemetery, Dover. In lieu of flowers donations in Karen’s memory to The Foundation for Morristown Medical Center, 475 South Street Morristown, NJ 07960 would be appreciated.All donations should be to the Foundation for Morristown Medical Center directed to the Volunteer Service Fund- designated to the Cancer Center.
