Obituary of Alice G. Chapman

Alice G. Chapman, 73, of Succasunna, passed away Friday, March 1st, 2013, at home, following a long illness. Alice was born in Montclair, grew-up in West Caldwell and has been a resident of Succasunna since 2003. Formerly of Randolph and Parsippany. She was a member of the Calvary Chapel of Morris Hills. She worked as a Bookkeeper for Randolph Township, Randolph. Alice loved classical music, hymns, opera and painting. She sang in church choirs and also at the New Jersey State Opera House. Survived by her daughter Jessica Losey of Succasunna, her son Steven Chapman also of Succasunna; granddaughter Victoria; four brothers Edward Garlock and wife Jean, Frank Garlock and wife Flora Jean, Donald Garlock and wife Mary Lou, Victor Garlock and wife Susan; and sister Eunice Mack. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and wonderful friends. Predeceased by three brothers David, Elmer, and Robert. Alice wanted everyone to celebrate her glorious homegoing to be with her Lord and Saviour. Memorial Visitation will be on Saturday, March 9th, 2013, 9:30 - 11:00 AM at the Succasunna United Methodist Church, 91 Main Street, Succasunna, NJ 07876. Memorial Service will follow at 11:00 AM. Interment at the Succasunna Presbyterian Cemetery, Succasunna. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Atlantic Hospice, 465 South Street, Morristown, NJ 07960.
