Martin J. Hughes, 70, of Mine Hill, passed away suddenly, at home, Saturday, February 23rd, 2013 . Martin was born in Brooklyn, NY and has been a resident of Mine Hill since 1967, and formerly resided in Livingston. He was an Elder and full-time Minister in his Randolph Congregation of Jehovah Witnesses. He was Chef and Owner of Marty's Country Kitchen, Kenvil and had previously worked as a Brew Master at Pabst Brewery in Newark. Survived by two sons David and his wife Jill and Jonathan and his wife Danielle; three siblings Carol Anne Hughes, Robert Roos, and Richard Roos. Also survived by four grandchildren Sarah, Jesse, Matthew, and Brittany and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his wife Rosalie; parents Florence and Anthony Roos; and his brother Donald. Memorial Services will be held Saturday, March 2, 2013, 2:00 PM at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses, 220 Dover-Chester Road, Randolph, NJ (973-584-0596).
