Obituary of Thomas R. Walsh

Friday July 17th, 2009 10:30AM Mass Thomas R. Walsh Tom passed away July 12, 2009 in Compassionate Care Hospice at Saint Clares Hospital, Dover, NJ after a long battle with his illness. He was a resident of North Scranton, PA and a member of Holy Rosary Church. The son of Raymond and Elizabeth Walsh of Randolph, NJ. He graduated from Randolph High School in 1971 and Emery Riddle Aeronautical Academy. He received his Aeronautical Science Degree from Dowling College in Long Island, NY. He was a pilot for US Airways for 20 years, and later was Chief Pilot for Tech Aviation, Wilkes-Barre, PA. He cherished his family and friends. He was an avid Antique Car buff and restored his father's 40 dodge and many others. Besides his parents he leaves his three beloved sisters and husbands; Terry & Joe Rampone, Colleen and Gary Leonhardt of Randolph, NJ, Mary and Scott Rosebaum of Long Valley, NJ and twelve nieces and nephews,who were the light of his life; Joey, Brian, Megan, Danny, Shannon, Kevin, Mark, Michael, Emily, Patrick, Jake and Nick, aunts and uncles, cousins and many friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Visitation will be held Thursday, July 16, 2009, 3 - 7 p.m. at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph, NJ 07869. (www.tuttlefh.com) A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, July 17, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Matthew the Apostle R.C. Church, 335 Dover-Chester Road, Randolph, NJ. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Chester, NJ. In lieu of flowers donations are requested in his memory to Compassionate Care Hospice, 400 W. Blackwell Street, Dover, NJ 07801.
