Obituary of Christine A. Wright

Christine A. Wright, 89, a resident of Randolph, for fifty-five years, passed away on January 26, 2013 in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Born in New York City, Christine is survived by her son Gregory R. Wright and his wife Joan of Virginia Beach, her daughter Christine M. Rolph of Dover, four grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Christine attended Hunter College, in New York City until the commencement of World War II. She enlisted in the Navy and transferred to Washington, D.C. where she was assigned the task of intercepting and translating message traffic. After the war, Christine married Robert G. Wright, Jr., who preceded her in death in 1992. Christine loved church activities of all kinds and was an active member of Westminster Bible Presbyterian Church for thirty years. She was one of the founding members of the American Christian School of Succasunna. Christine was also a member of the ladies Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 7333, of Randolph. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, February 8, 2013 2:30PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, Randolph (www.Tuttlefh.com) . A Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday, February 8, 2013 at the funeral home from 1:00PM – 2:30PM.
