James Nicholl, 72, of Jefferson Township died on January 31st, 2013, surrounded by his loving family. James was born in Clones, Co Monaghan, Ireland on October 6th, 1940. He relocated to Shannon Co. Clare, Ireland in the late 1960's. He resided there for nearly 23 years where he raised his family. He worked in Shannon as Knitting Manager for Lana Knit Ireland from 1970 to 1988 before relocating to the US where he worked as Plant Manager for Fairfield Textiles Corp., Fairfield, NJ from 1988 to 2005 when he retired. He is survived by his wife Evelyn, his children Richard, Ivan, Barry, Karen and her husband Benjamin Scott and two grandchildren Kiera Scott and Kian Scott. He is also survived by his sister Geraldine McSorley and family of Dungannon, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. Predeceased by his brothers Patrick who died in 1997 and Richard who died in 1995 and Francis who died in infancy. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, February 5th, 2013 from 3 -5 & 7-9 PM at the Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West in Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com). A Funeral Mass will be given at St. Mary's Church in Wharton, 11:00 AM on Wednesday, February 6th, 2013, 345 S Main St Wharton. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society, Brain Cancer Research, PO Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718.
