Obituary of Guido J. Colicelli

Mr. Guido J. Colicelli, 86, of Randolph, passed away Sunday, January 27, 2013, at home surrounded by family members. Born in Newark, Mr. Colicelli lived in Maplewood before moving to Randolph in 1978. He was a graduate of Bloomfield Tech / Essex County Vocational Technical School in 1940. He retired from Wilbur B. Driver Company, Florham Park in 1988 where he was a machinist. He and his wife traveled during retirement. Mr. Colicelli was a member of Resurrection Parish where he engaged in a large amount of volunteer work. Mr. Colicelli was a former member of St. Joseph Parish in Maplewood. He is survived by his 5 children: Elena Colicelli, S.C. of Convent Station, Carol Byrnes and her husband, Joseph, of Rochester, NY, Guy Colicelli and his wife, Gloria of Pembroke Pines, FL, Anne Nicolette and her husband, Alan, of Leesburg, VA, John Colicelli and his partner Steven Cannell, of Los Angeles, CA, nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He is predeceased by his loving wife of 58 years, Olga M. Colicelli and his brothers Vasco and Gino. A Funeral Mass will be held at Resurrection Parish, Randolph (973-895-4224) at 10AM on Saturday, February 2, 2013. Visitation will be Friday, February 1, 2013 from 4PM to 8PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 Route 10 West, Randolph (www.Tuttlefh.com). Entombment will be at Holy Rood Mausoleum, Morristown.
