Charles Zaug, 86 passed away suddenly Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at St. Clare’s Hospital, Denville. Born in Woodside, NY Charles lived in the Queens area until moving to Randolph 7 years ago. He worked as a Communications Supervisor for the New York Times for over 45 years. A veteran of The US Navy Charles served in WWII in the Pacific as a Signal Man. After returning from the service he joined the US Coast Guard.
He is survived by his sister-in-law Loretta Zaug, his beloved niece Denise Zaug, his two nephews Scott Zaug and his wife Estelle , Douglas Zaug two great nephews Eric and his wife Melissa and Steven. Charles is predeceased by his parents Marcel and Yvonne and his brother Marcel.
Visitation will be held Monday, January 28, 2013 from 9-11 AM with a funeral service following at 11:00 AM at Tuttle Funeral Home 272 Rt. 10 Randolph www.tuttlefh.com. Interment will follow at Flushing Cemetery, Queens NY.
