Obituary of Marjorie Hoffman

Marjorie Hoffman, 80, of Saylorsburg, PA, passed away Saturday, January 19th, 2013 at VNA Hospice House at University Ridge, Smithfield Township, PA. Marjorie was born in Dover, NJ and has been a resident of McMichaels, PA for 26 years. Previously she was a longtime resident of Wharton, NJ. She worked as a Bookkeeper at Picatinny Arsenal, Rockaway Township, NJ and retired in 1984. Marjorie sang in the choir at the Dover United Methodist Church in the late 1940's and early 1950's where she met the love of her life, her late husband Bill. Survived by four children Barbara Lobman and husband Joseph, William R., Diane Tappen and husband Russell, and Lisa A. Milburn and husband Bill. Also survived by nine grandchildren Nicole, April, Laura, Stephen, Melissa, Tara, Quinnton, Elizabeth, and Billy; three great-grandchildren Haley, Joshua, and Jacob and her sister Leah Tironi and nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband William and a sister Dolores Campbell. Visitation Wednesday, January 23rd, 2013, 3 - 5 & 7 - 9 PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com). Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home, 11:00 AM on Thursday, January 24th, 2013. Interment will follow at Berkshire Valley Presbyterian Cemetery, Jefferson Township, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested in her memory to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123 or cancer.org.
