Nicholas Terpstra,Beloved Husband,Father and Grandfather,85,of Ledgewood,passed away peacefully on Thursday,January 17,2013 after a long illness. Nicholas was born in the Netherlands and had lived in Ledgewood since 1987,formerly of Randolph.He was a General Contractor that owned various General Contracting Companies,most recently Terbo Construction in Parsippany.Nicholas served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a member and elder of the Randolph Congregational Church. He is survived by Mary M.,his wife of 63 years.His four sons,Nicholas Jr. of Sandyston,Mark and his wife Tracey of Clearwater,Fl,David of Montville and Wayne of Boonton,his two daughters,Lynn Galek and her husband Chet of Randolph and Kathy Gallela and her husband Anthony of Hibernia,his 9 grandchildren,Ian,Jenna,David,Alanna,Erik,Kristin,Greg,Ryan and Michael,his two brothers,Gary Terpstra of Ocala,Fl and William Terpstra of Pennsylvania,his three sisters ,Ida Hemple of Red Hook,NY,Rachel Barry of Middletown,NY and Betty DeVos of Chambersburg,PA and many nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Monday,January 21,2013 from 2-4 & 7-8:30PM at Tuttle Funeral Home in Randolph www.Tuttlefh.com. The funeral service will follow at 8:30PM,also at the funeral home.In lieu of flowers,please make a donation in his memory to a charity of your choice.
