Eleanor M. Alpers,83,Beloved Wife,Mother and Grandmother,passed away peacefully on Thursday,January,17,2013.Born and raised in the Union Hill section of Denville,she had lived in Mount Arlington for th last 18 years .Eleanor was a cafeteria worker for Randolph High School,retiring in 1998 after 25 years. She is survived by her two daughters, Audrey Cooke and her husband John of Mount Arlington and Bonnie Jordan and her husband Scott of Mission Viejo,CA.,her three sons,Martin Alpers Jr. and his wife Betsy of Queen Creek,AZ,Arthur Alpers and his wife Karen of Dingmans Ferry,PA and Frank Alpers of Dingmans Ferry,PA,her seven grandchildren,Danny,Nicholas,Kim,Doug,Jenn,Gina and Michael.Her brother, Don Ford and his wife Jean of North Cape May and her two sisters, Doris Huyler of Myerstown,PA and Betty Lou Schlerf of Florida .Eleanor was predeceased by her husband Martin Sr. in 1979 and her brothers,Wesley,Willard & Robert Ford. A visitation will be held on Sunday,January 20,2013 from 2-6 PM at Tuttle Funeral Home in Randoph www.Tuttlefh.com The funeral service will be on Monday,January 21,2013 at 10:00 AM also at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Restland Memorial Park in East Hanover.
