Obituary of Arline T. Haviland

Arline Theresa Haviland (nee-Stiegler), 82, passed away Sunday December 23, 2012, at Compassionate Care Hospice in Dover, NJ after a courageous battle with breast cancer. Born in Staten Island, NY, she lived in various towns, but always considered Randolph, NJ her home. She worked for many years as a retail sales associate at M. Epstein’s store in Morristown, and at World Bazaar in Winston-Salem, NC. Arline always stressed putting family before anything and her love and dedication never faltered. Family and friends will always remember her eternal smile and patience, generosity of spirit, infinite kindness, her love of the Shore and artistic nature, especially her hand-painted Santa figurines. She is survived, and will be remembered forever, by her son Mark, his wife Grace and their children Claire and Ava of Brick, NJ; her daughter Laura Zepp, her husband James, and their children Tyler and Lily of Randolph, NJ; her son Gregg, his wife Jennifer and their children Andrew and Alexa of Madison, NJ. She is survived by her dear sister Charlotte Helfrich of Mill Valley, CA; her sister-in-law Ann Valles and her husband Richard of Randolph, NJ; her sister-in-law Sister Mary Bernadetta (Jean), of Marlborough, MA and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects, as follows: on Thursday 12/27/2012: 3-5 p.m. & 7-9p.m. at the Tuttle Funeral Home, Randolph.
