Charles A. Teresa, passed away on Friday, February 14, 2014 at Morristown Memorial Hospital, he was 79. Charles was a resident of Lake Hopatcong, previously of Sparta and Denville, and born and raised in Newark. He was a Meat Manager for Shop Rite in Parsippany, retiring in 1997 after 50 years. Charles was a member of the Barringer High School Alumni Association and was also a gymnast in high school, as well as being involved in martial arts. He was a contractor and developer in his spare time and was known as a mentor to many people. Charles is survived Johanna (nee Walker), his wife of 56 years. His two sons: Michael and his wife Emily of Pine Brook, Charles M. and his wife Sandee of Sarasota, Fl , his daughters: Yolanda Teresa of Lake Hopatcong and Leianne Teresa of Denville, his seven grandchildren: Amanda,Tyler, Brittney, Maxwell, Mia, Johanna and Shane, his great grandson: Ayden, his sister: Mary Santoro and husband Michael of Whippany and many nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2014, from 4 PM to 8 PM at Tuttle Funeral Home in Randolph (www.Tuttlefh.com) . The Funeral Service will be on Thursday, February 20, 2014 at 10:00 AM, also at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to either the Market Street Mission, 9 Market St., Morristown, NJ 07960 or the Salvation Army, 95 Spring St., Morristown, NJ 07960
