Obituary of Ruth C. Howell

Mrs. Ruth (Carroll) Howell, daughter of Charles F. and Bertha (Love) Carroll died on Sunday, November 11, 2012 at St. Clare’s Hospital, Dover, NJ. She was 93 years old. Mrs. Howell graduated from Boonton High School in 1937. She attended Drake’s Business School in Paterson during 1938 and 1939. She worked for Tredway’s Boonton-New York Express for six years and at the Community Medical Group in Boonton, NJ for 20 years in their bookkeeping department. Mrs. Howell is a member of the Randolph Senior Citizens Club and a Past President of the Randolph Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post 7333. She is predeceased by her husband, George, who died in 2000, and her brother, Charles F Carroll Jr., who died in 2003. She is survived by two sons, Bruce Howell of Hackettstown, NJ and Gary Howell of Evans Mills, NY, and a daughter, Ruth Ann Mueller of Blairstown, NJ. Also surviving Mrs. Howell is her sister Margaret (Marge) Howell of Pennsburg, PA. In addition, four grandsons, Matthew, Stephen, Jason and Patrick Howell, three granddaughters, Jennifer Wolf, Holly Sussick and Gretchen Renaldo, as well as eight great grandchildren, survive Mrs. Howell. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 14, 2012, 3-5 & 7-9 PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph, www.Tuttlefh.com. Funeral Services will be held at the Millbrook United Methodist Church, Millbrook Avenue, Randolph on Thursday, November 15th 2012, 10 AM.
