Obituary of Lucas Lopomo

Lucas Lopomo, 89, passed away Sunday, September 30, 2012 at Saint Clare's Hospital, Dover. Born in Newark, Lucas lived in Bloomfield until moving to Ledgewood in 1999.
He served in the U.S. Air Force during WWII with the 463rd Bomber Group in the European Theatre. Mr. Lopomo worked as an Insurance Agent at Prudential Insurance in Belleville for over 20 years.
Lucas is survived by his wife of 50 years, Celia; his two daughters Marilyn Bruno and her husband Paul of East Hanover, Christine D'Antuono and her husband Michael of Flanders and his brother Nicholas of Wayne. Also survived by two grandsons Anthony Bruno and Paul Bruno, three granddaughters Danielle D'Antuono, Alexis D'Antuono and Olivia D'Antuono and one great-granddaughter Reagan Bruno. Predeceased by his parents Louis and Jenny Lopomo.
Visitation will be held Wednesday October 3, 2012 from 3-5 & 7-9 PM at Tuttle Funeral Home 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com). A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Elizabeth- Ann Seton Church, 61 Main Street, Flanders (973-927-1629) at 10:30 AM on Thursday, October 4, 2012. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.
