Obituary of Barbara Mary Holzhauer

Barbara Mary Holzhauer,age 69, Randolph,passed away on Saturday,September 29,2012 at the Compassionate Care Hospice at St.Clares Hospital in Dover,after a short illness. Born and raised Brooklyn,NY,Barbara had been a Randolph resident since 1967.She worked as a medical office manager for various medical offices until her retirement in 2008 after over 30 years.She graduated from Ft. Hamilton High School in Brooklyn.She was a very active member of the Randolph Senior Citizens and enjoyed traveling with them.She loved puzzles,games and her Friday night card games with her friends.She was known for her love of animals,especially her cat,Lucy. Mostly she loved spending time with her family,especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her son,Scott and his wife Mary Beth of Green Twp. and her two daughters,Fay Holzhauer of Del Ray Beach,FL and Lynn Rosa and husband Anthony of East Hanover.Her four grandchildren,Ryan,Hannah,Adriana and Anthony Jr.,her two step-daughters, Norma Laverty and her husband Al of Rockaway and Sandy Bostick and husband Ron of Florida. She is also survived by her two sisters,Judy Baird and Sue Franklin,both of Pine Bush,NY. Barbara was predeceased by her husband Frank in 2001. A visitation will be held on Tuesday,October 2,2012 from 3-5 & 7-9 PM at Tuttle Funeral Home in Randolph www.Tuttlefh.com The funeral will be on Wednesday,October 3,2012 at 10:00 AM also at the funeral home.
