Obituary of Oskar Froysti

Oskar Froysti, 81, of Randolph, passed away Wednesday, August 29th, 2012 at home, following a short illness. Mr. Froysti was born in Farsund, Norway and has been a resident of Randolph for 50 years.
He was a self-employed carpenter until retiring 15 years ago.
Survived by his wife of 63 years, Synnove (neeDragland); daughters Lisa Rosenberg and husband Jon of Rockaway and Ellen Barch and husband Alan of Eagan, MN; his sister Mary Ann Thorbjornsen of Norway. Also survived by 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his son Johny Froysti in 2011.
Visitation Friday, August 31, 2012, 7:00 - 9:00 PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com). Funeral Services will also be at the funeral home, 8:30 PM on Friday.
In lieu of flowers, donations are requested in Oskar's name to the American Cancer Society, Attn: Memorial Processing Center, 6725 Lyons Street, PO Box 7, East Syracuse, NY 13057.
