Jean E. Davis, 95, passed away on Saturday, August 11, 2012 at Compassionate Care Hospice at Saint Clare’s Hospital, Dover. Jean was born in Wilkes-Barre, PA and lived in Mine Hill for over 30 years. She worked as a store manager at Plymouth Shops in Paramus until her retirement in 1982. She was a former Deacon at Mine Hill Presbyterian Church, Mine Hill. Jean was a member of the United Presbyterian Women and the Mine Hill Good Years Club.
She is survived by her son Arthur and wife Elaine of Mine Hill; two grandsons Randal and wife Elisabeth of Amesbury, MA and Brian and wife Kellie of Wharton. Also survived by six great grandchildren Abigail, Matthew, Chloe, Carrie, Jackson and Emma Jean. She was predeceased by her husband James.
A funeral Service will be held at Tuttle Funeral Home 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (tuttlefh.com) on Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at 11:00AM. Interment will follow at Locust Hill Cemetery, Dover. Visitation at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 14, 2012, from 3:00-7:00PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Mine Hill First Aid Squad, 10 Baker St., Mine Hill, NJ 07803
