Ruth R. Gopin, 93, of Morris Plains, passed away Friday January 31, 2014 at Merry Heart of Boonton Twp. Ruth was born in Brooklyn, NY. She resided in Morris Plains since 2003. Mrs. Gopin was a bookkeeper and checkout clerk at Grand Union in Bayside, NY for 30 years before retiring in 1986.
Ruth is survived by her son Alan and his wife Joan, and her three grandchildren Stephen, Josephine, and Michael. She was predeceased by her husband Meyer in 1992.
A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday February 2, 2014, 10:00AM at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Beth David Cemetery, Elmont, NY.
