Obituary of Joseph D. Proscia

Joseph D. Proscia, 87, of New York City, passed away at home, Friday, July 27, 2012. Joseph was born in NYC, NY and has been a lifelong resident of New York City. He was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Church, New York City. He served in the U.S. Navy during WW II. Mr. Proscia worked as a Customer Service Representative at Brooklyn Union Gas Company, Brooklyn, NY and retired in 1990. Member of the American Legion Fred Eller Post of Monsy, NY. Survived by three sisters Angelina Eichner of Hopatcong, NJ, Grace Minerva of NC and Ann Shelly and her husband Max of Sparta, NJ; three brothers Michael and his wife Marion of North Bergen, NJ,Andrew of Lodi, and Mario and his wife Angela of SC. Also loved by his many nieces and nephews and many friends. Visitation Tuesday, July 31, 2012, 3 - 9 PM and also Wednesday 3 - 9 PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com) . Funeral Mass at St. Jude Parish, 40 Maxim Drive, Hopatcong, NJ (973-398-6377), 10:00 AM on Thursday, August 2nd, 2012. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Woodside, NY.
