Charles R. Heath, Sr., 67, of Ironia, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family, Sunday, July 22nd, 2012. Charles was born in Dover and has been a resident of Ironia for the last 37 years. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He worked as a Machinist at Westinghouse/Schindler Elevator, Randolph. All his life he was a machinist. Member of the American Legion Post 91 of Wharton and the V.F.W. Randolph Memorial Post #7333. He was an avid Jets, Mets, and Rutgers fan and he also loved golf. Survived by Lorraine, his loving wife of 42 years; son Charles R. Jr. and wife Lori of Port Murray; daughter Ann Marie Heath of Ironia; grandson Charles R., III; brother Edwin E. Heath, Jr. and wife Nancy of Mesa, AZ and sister Marie Chambers of Rockaway. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews. Visitation Thursday, July 26th, 2012, 3 - 5 & 7 - 9 PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com). Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Friday, July 27th, 2012, 10:00 AM. Entombment will follow at Locust Hill Mausoleum, Dover. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to either the American Heart Association, 1 Union St., Suite 301, Robbinsville, NJ 08691-4183 or VA NJ Health Care System, Lyons Campus, Volunteer Service Office, 151 Knollcroft Road, Lyons, NJ 07939.
