Obituary of Robert N. Pitts

Robert N. Pitts, 91, died Saturday, July 21, 2012. Born in Stinesville, Indiana. Formerly of Randolph and Morris Plains, N.J. Mr. Pitts worked as a sales service director at Sandoz Pharmaceuticals in East Hanover, N.J before retiring in 1986 after 37 years. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church for many years. He was an active volunteer instructor at the Friendship Center in Hackettstown. He was a 60 year member of Gosport Lodge #92 F. and A.M. of Indiana. His hobbies were travel, wood working, photography, golf, bocce ball and watching Yankee baseball. He is predeceased by his wife, Eleanor in 2002. Survived by his two children, Judith A. Griffiths and husband, Ted of Bedminster, Robert B. and wife, Pamela of Morris Plains; two brothers, Jesse and Philip, both of Indiana; four grandchildren, Bonnie Fass, Chad Griffiths, Rebecca Pitts and Brian Pitts; two great grandchildren, Logan and Anya Fass. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 24 at the Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 Rt. 10, Randolph, N.J. Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 25 at the funeral home.
