Janet S. Wellington, 85, of Hackettstown, passed away Tuesday, June 26th, 2012 at Hackettstown Regional Medical Center. Born in Rockaway, she has been a resident of Hackettstown for 33 years. Formerly of Randolph and Wharton. She was a member of the Waterloo United Methodist Church at Waterloo Village. She worked as a Secretary at Brundage Story and Rose, New York, NY. Mrs. Wellington was a fifty year member of the Order of the Eastern Star of New Jersey Pearl Chapter, Dover. Survived by Wellar, her husband of 63 years; daughter Nancy Smietana of Norwich, NY; son Neil Wellington of Chicago, IL; two grandchildren Jayson Smietana and wife Elizabeth of Las Vegas, NV and Dustin Smietana and wife Renata of Norwich, NY; four great-grandchildren Max, Emily, Aleksander and Amanda. Also survived by her sister Jacqueline Koury of Rockaway. Visitation Friday, June 29th, 2012, 3 - 5 & 7 - 8:30 PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com). Funeral Services will also be on Friday at 8:30 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Waterloo United Methodist Church, PO Box 416, Stanhope, NJ 07874.
