James McClure, 84, of Morris Plains, passed away Tuesday, June 12th, 2012 at Morristown Memorial Hospital, Morristown, following a short illness. Mr. McClure was born in Lakewood, OH and was a resident of Dover and Randolph area for over 20 years.
He served in the U.S. Army during WW II.
Mr. McClure received his BS Degree from Mannes College of Music in New York.
He was a self-employed Voice Teacher/Opera Singer.
James' life was his family, God, and music.
Survived by two daughters Sharon McClure Green and husband Gary and Susan McClure and husband Jay Cooney; two grandchildren Jonathan Green and Jamie Cooney. Predeceased by his wife Cecelia (Rosenberg) McClure.
Memorial Visitation will be on Saturday, June 23, 2012, 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (tuttlefh.com). Memorial Service also on Saturday, 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
