Obituary of Myrtle J. McPeek

Myrtle J. McPeek Myrtle J. McPeek, 83, of Pompton Plains, passed away Friday, June 8th, 2012 at Chilton Memorial Hospital, Pompton Plains. Mrs. McPeek was born in Ridgewood and has been a resident of Pompton Plains since 2006. She formerly resided in Mine Hill Township. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Dover and former member of the church choir and of the United Methodist Women. She worked as the Head Secretary at the East Dover Elementary School, Dover, and retired in 1991 after 20 years. Survived by two children Cynthia Brighton of Hackettstown and Craig D. of Mine Hill; stepdaughter Linda Krause of New York State and her sister-in-law Dorothy Eagles of FL. Also survived by five grandchildren Kara Brighton, Melanie McPeek, William McPeek, Thomas Krause and Dale Krause and three great-grandchildren Amanda Krause, Ryan Krause and Robert Krause. Predeceased by her husbands James Stickle and William McPeek Jr. and her brother C. Douglas Eagles. Visitation Wednesday, June 13th, 2012, 3 - 5 & 7 - 9 PM at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10 West, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com). Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home 11:00 AM on Thursday, June 14th, 2012. Interment will follow at Millbrook Cemetery, Randolph.
