Karen A. Rooney, 61, of Dover, passed away Tuesday, April 17th, 2012 at Saint Clares Hospital, Dover following a short illness. Mrs. Rooney was born in Kearny and previously resided in Denville.
She worked as a Secretary at Heymann & Fletcher, Randolph.
Survived by her husband of 40 years, Larry; her son Mark Rooney and his wife Katherine of Flanders; her daughter Lynn Marino and her husband Steven of East Stroudsburg, PA; two grandsons Shane and Ryan and her sister Diane Miller. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
All funeral arrangements are private by Tuttle Funeral Home, Randolph (www.tuttlefh.com).
A Memorial Luncheon for family and friends may gather at Larry's home on Saturday, April 21, 2012 from 1:00 - 4:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory are requested to the Saint Clares Walk for Breast Cancer, Saint Clares Foundation, 140 Diamond Spring Road, Denville, NJ 07834.
